Account Password and MFA

To change your administrator password or configure a second authenticator factor, log in to the dashboard and click the key icon in the top right corner:

Change your account password

  1. Click the Password tab.
  1. Enter your existing password.
  2. Enter the new password and confirm it, then click Change Password. If you need to reveal the password, you can click the eye icon.
Always use a strong or very strong password.
It is recommended you configure a second factor to ensure your account is secure.

Configure SMS for second factor authentication

  1. Click the SMS Authentication tab.
  2. Tick Enable SMS Authentication and the configuration panel appears.
  3. Select the country your cell phone is registered in and enter the phone number without the leading zero.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. Click Verify.
  1. An SMS message is sent to the specified mobile phone number. Enter the pass code that is contained in the message and then click Apply.
  2. Once verified, the SMS Authentication is active and will be the second factor used during login, unlock or elevated actions.

Configure Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) authentication

First, you must configure SMS Authentication by following the steps above.
  1. Click the Authenticator App tab.
  2. Tick Enable Authenticator App.
  1. Scan the QR Code using your TOTP app of choice, for example, Google Authenticator.
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Enter the 6 digit code presented in the app and click Verify.
  4. Once verified, the Authenticator App is active and will be the second factor used during login, unlock or elevated actions.
